Pierre Nieuwyaer
Pierre has been a lawyer since 2014. He assists companies and individuals in the fields of tech, innovation and creation, both in advice (contracts, project structuring, compliance, etc.) and litigation (courts, INPI/EUIPO, CNIL).
In particular, he advises start-ups, SMEs and mid-sized companies on issues relating to the protection, promotion and defence of intellectual property (in particular patents, software, databases, copyright and trademarks), as well as on digital issues (e-commerce, platform regulation, AI, cybersecurity, etc.).
Pierre also assists his clients with personal data matters, in particular GDPR compliance (audits, compliance programme, DPO, relations with the CNIL, etc.).

Pierre is a graduate of the Ecole de Formation du Barreau de Paris (EFB) and holds a Master 2 in intellectual property law from Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3.
He is also a lecturer in intellectual property law in the Master 2 Intellectual Property at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 and at ESSEC.
He works in French and English.
